Chyawanprash is a ‘Rasayana’ - a natural food preparation, dating back over 2000 years that literally translates to ‘that which enhances lifespan’. It is a general health elixir that throughout the Indian subcontinent is traditionally recommended for its nourishing, energising and immunity-boosting effects.

The term Rasayana, in traditional Ayurveda, not only refers to the science of prolonging life but also to the herbal remedies used to promote optimal health.

According to folklore ‘Chyawan’ was the name of the ancient Sage that is said to have restored his youth by taking this powerful jam every morning. ‘Prash’ means ‘a specially prepared food’, so hence the name Chyawanprash.

Much of Chyawanprash’s health benefits come from its main ingredient, Amla Berry, which is naturally rich in Vitamin C. However, it is the skilful incorporation of the other ingredients that make it the powerful Rasayana that it is.

We have carefully re-invented Chyawanprash, selecting the best ingredients from the original recipe to carefully create a tart, sticky and slightly spicy preserve that provides a rich blast of Vitamin C, antioxidants and nutrients.

The various herbs and spices work together to support the beneficial actions of each other while the coconut oil and jaggery aid to deliver the nutrients from each ingredient deep into the cells of the body, improving absorption and efficacy. Furthermore, our Chyawanprash is certified vegan and organic.

Organic, plant-based, cruelty-free products that have been sourced, and manufactured with care. No additives or unnatural preservatives.

Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet.
